To me, it’s funny how one day, you can meet someone, have lunch, chill and talk and somewhat get to know a little about them. Then the next day and the days after, the two of you are complete strangers. It’s definitely not hard to just kill the awkwardness and just say hello, but I get good giggles out of people squirming, so I’ma just let it float for a little longer. >=]

Something I’ve noticed lately: a lot of couples don’t act like couples. At least not to me. There’s no sparkle in their eye. No giddy-ness to their voice. To me, it seems like people are taking perfectly good friendships and slapping a title onto it. Where’s the magic in that? It’s easy to find someone who will give you attention. It’s easy to find someone physically attractive. It’s easy to just claim a title. But those feelings behind it all. Those are unique. One of a kind and special to each pair. I’m not one to just let my friends settle. I’ll let them know when I can see they aren’t getting everything they want and desire out of a relationship. It’s not worth wasting precious minutes in a relationship when the spark wasn’t there to begin with. Just a thought.

So many people dwell on what they feel has to be done. It’s so rare to find people who are doing things because it truly makes them happy. People are in organizations for the title, for the sense of belonging, to uphold an appearance, for their resume, etc. But really, how often do you come across people who are 100% happy with everything they’re doing? Meaning every minute of their life.

Lately, everyone’s talking about their futures and school, etc. People are freaking out because they don’t know what to do. Me, I’m so fricking happy ecstatic. I love school and I know no matter where I end up, as long as I get to be in a classroom learning, I’ll get where I want to be. Everyone complicates their lives by tripping over the smallest of details. What’s the point? If you don’t love what you’re doing this second, what’s the point of doing it? To get towards an uncertain future or an uncertain tomorrow? Good luck. Maybe it’s just because I know no matter what, I have a gazillion back up plans and all the support in the world. But all the negativity and stress is just baffling to me. It could be a possibility that I’m just a crazy optimist, but I see the reality of everything too. Tomorrow is never guaranteed, judgments will be there regardless of how hard you try to fit into a mold, so why not do things for your personal enjoyment? After all each day only happens once. Make every minute count. 

It’s so amazing to have my laptop back!! Only issue now, they gave me a new battery… I already bought a replacement one before the damn thing broke! GAH, can I have a refund??? :((( What am I going to do with two batteries?! Ridiculous.
